Title: Performance Engineer

Experience: 3 to 6 years

Must Haves 

• Must have proficiency in the Performance Engineering discipline and have a good understanding around testing methodologies such as soak, spike, load, etc. 
• Understand frontend web performance best practices and be able to perform analysis and make recommendations for optimization. 
• Understand heap dumps, thread/stack dumps, JVM profiling techniques 
• Proficiency in Java programming (very important). 
• Experience with load testing tools and have advanced knowledge of JMeter 
• Experience with standard observation tools - Application Dynamics, Splunk, StackDriver etc. 
• Experience working with Cloud technologies and have a basic understanding of cloud architectures. 
• Experience working with Jira or similar ticketing system used in Agile development 
• Must know SQL and be familiar with RDBMS and NoSQL Database technologies 
• Strong problem solver who should be able to analyze the performance issues and provide solutions to solve them both in software and hardware. 

Extra Points for any of the Following 

• Experience working with GCP and Kurbernetes 
• Experience performance optimizing balancers, reverse proxies, networks and operating systems 
• Experience with JMH framework 
• Experience in optimizing SQL 
• Experience in performance testing mobile applications 
• Experience with Capacity planning 
• Experience with Jenkins
• Experience with Functional test suites (Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Rest Assured)
